I just began spittin. I pretty much started at the age of 20. Im 22 years old right now. I got some good feedback from a couple of artists via myspace like Chuandon, Asher Roth, Elzhi, John Robinson, Skyzoo, just to name a few. I have been listening to a lot of artists for influence reasons…and plus these artists i am listening to are dope. Lyrically I try to listen to MF DOOM, XZIBIT, LUPE FIASCO, KANYE, DRAKE, Dom Kennedy, NAS. I get inspired everytime i hear them and i try to put all of those together with my personality. But now, I am inspired to the 10th power!!! Ive been listening to a lot of Common lately. I listened to Can i Borrow a Dollar?, One day It’ll All Make Sense, and BE today and I am feeling very inspired. Common is possibly the best rapper in the game…and he’s one of the best when it comes to a freestyle. Im inspired by Common….LYRICALLY…his lyrics show me this other world of hip hop. Some of the things i spit about are Comic Books, Cartoons, Entertainment, etc. But now i want to add some other catagories like politics and todays society. Im going to continue to listen to more Common so I can get at that level.
